2012 International CES, hosted by Consumer Electronics Association, will be held in Las Vegas during January 10-13, 2012. The International CES is the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. TD Industry Alliance, China Mobile, GTI, will participate 2012 International CES, in collaboration with ZTE, Huawei, Qualcomm, Marvell, Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell, Nokia Siemens Networks, MediaTek, Spreadtrum. TD-LTE booth is located at 35625 in the South Hall 4 of Las Vegas Convention Center.

There will be both static displays and live demos at TD-LTE booth, which will be an important highlight at the show. TD-LTE live demos is as follows. ZTE will build TD-LTE network on the site and demonstrate streaming service by TD-LTE smart phone and performance single-mode USB dongle FTP downloading demo. Nokia Siemens Networks will demonstrate new type of TD-LTE applications through unique experience, controlling a TD-LTE robot to dance and read with a TD-LTE Femto. Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell will show a TD-LTE concept car, demonstrating various automotive multimedia applications supporting by TD-LTE network, such as vido call during driving, navigation, on line entertainments, material downloading, etc. MediaTek will carry out vido call and streaming service with TD-LTE multimode smard phone. Qualcomm will performance streaming service and ftp downloading service to demonstrating the maximum peak. The static displays at TD-LTE booth will include the latest promotion process of GTI, TD-LTE international industry chain, TD-LTE standard and industrilization progress, TD-LTE network distribution and the latest products of TD-LTE system, chipsets and terminals. There will also be a window for TD Terminals, including TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE terminal products. Spreadtrum will launch their new TD-LTE products during the show. The event will lead better understanding of and antention on TD-LTE from the overseas governments communication regulators and the carriers, creat a favorable condition for TD technology expansion overseas and promote the scale commercial use of TD-LTE.

During the show, GTI, Clearwire and China Mobile will jointly organize GTI Seminar on TD-LTEDevice Ecosystem, Las Vegas from 9:00 to 17:30 on January 11 at WynnHotel in Las Vegas. The workshop will mainly invite some important leaders and TDD operatiors from global TD-LTE market to disccuss the development strategy of mobile boadband ecosystem. The following organzations and enterprises will give speeches on the topic: Chipset and Platform providers such as Qualcomm, MTK, Sequans; RF solutions providers such as Fujitsu, Avago, RFMD, Skycross; Device OEM/ODM such as HuaWei, HTC and ZTE. The seminar will creat an developing commercial environment for TD-LTE.

The show and the seminar during 2012 International CES will be the first time for TD-LTE to land North America. Both of hese two events will demonstrate the latest development of the whole TD-LTE international industry chain and the expansion of TD-LTE overseas market. The success of these events will creat a favorable overseas environment for TD technology, driving the further development of TD-LTE international industry chain, expanding the international coopration and application of TD-LTE, promoting the scale commercial use of TD technology at home and abroad. 2012 will be a critical year for the development of TD technology and these events will be a successful beginning. The commercial use of TD technology must be a great success at home and abroad.
